After an introductory class on the structure of argumentative texts, students do some writing exercises as extensions to the course 'écrit'. After this the students produce papers in French, of which the structure and argumentation, as well as accuracy of citations and references, are carefully checked. The papers are discussed in class and then corrected and rewritten. Dissertation II In this course, which follows up on exercises from the first year, the student learns to write argumentative texts about literary subjects (from a reading list). |
