Course description: The Kwa language Ewe is spoken in Southeast Ghana, South Togo and South Benin. By the end of the first course year, students will be able to write Ewe sentences, with tone markings, as well as speak the language in various communicative situations, such as on the market, food and its preparation, school etc. Students will be able to hold a conversation using standard expressions for greetings, starting conversations, introducing oneself and others, saying goodbye, etc. After this course, students may wish to go to Ghana for an intensive follow-up course.
Total duration: 2 semesters, extension possible.
Course frequency: The courses are taught at least once in every two years.
